Pillow talk
Basket case: a neurotic mess. To be avoided at all costs.
Pillow case: a relaxed and stylish object of desire.
I love adorning my home with pretty pillows and cushions. I’ve been acutely accident prone all my life, and I’ve found that not only do pillows add some cozy, comfy panache to a room, but they’re excellent landing pads.
Above: Luxurious and sturdy heirloom pillows by Alena Hennessy, starting at $60 and available at alenahennessy.com. I love the silhouettes, so bold and delicate.
Above: Heads or tails pillow, left, $68 from anthropologie.com and Versailles pillow, right, $34.95 from cb2.com.
From left, Belize pillow, $348; Bayeux pillow, $78; Isola Bella pillow, $58, all available at anthropologie.com. I doubt you’d let company sit on these cushions, and with good reason! Perhaps we could have them framed instead?
